Mother's Day Saison Une

Hey friends,
Am back.. This time with a mother's day card and my very first attempt at using a digi image on a card and colouring it on my own *drumroll*.. It's quite an achievement for me I swear it...

Well, here is the picture of my project

I have followed the sketch from the Sweetest Thing Blog sketch #115.. Well this again was a first for me, i.e. following a sketch pattern.. So another *drum roll* for me.. LOL. And the sketch looks like this

Here is a close up of the digi I painted... It was such a hardship oh my god.. I swear it...

Eeewww.. I know the picture's a bit shoddy but I never did boast about my photography skills as I have none...

And here is the inside of the card...

Now, there is a story behind this card.. This card I have made for one of my cousin's friend who wants to give it to his adoptive parents.. If you notice closely in the picture, the Mother Kitty and two of her kittens look similar but one of the kittens' looks different but he is one hiding behind his mum.. He wants to let his mum know that she has loved him beyond reason.. protecting him more than her own kids...:-)..

Anyways, Supply list...

Card stock:- Fabriano
PP-Hobby Ideas
Sentiment- Computer Generated
Embellishments- The bling on the digi from my stash.. The bling on the ride hand corner and the butterflies inside from Pie Lane.. More about Pie Lane on my next post.

I am entering my card for the following challeneges
1) Sweet Thing- Sketch #115
2) Indian Craft Room- Mothers Day + Digi Image
3)Creative Inspiratons- Inspired by Mom
4) Anyone for Anya- Mothers

Please leave your valued comments as they are very much appreciated.

Till then happy crafting..

Hugs,
Khush

P.S: The Blog mentioned for the digi image is a free digi image blog and she has some of the cutest creations ever.. Please do visit her...

P.S:  Tejal Di.. You sounded so strict that I had to re-search the image to know where I got it from...From next time onwards I shall remember it...

P.S: Thanks Snehal Di for letting me know of what Card Sketches actually are.. I had fun doing them...

I love the coloring on this...I think you've done a great job on it..
P.s. I had to be strict..coz its an insult to the artist if you don't give them credit...assuming you create a card but no one knows you've done it..isn't it a sheer waste of talent?
I'm very strict when it comes to ethics!!

What a sweet card! Unfortunately you need to use an image from the Greeting Farm or CC Designs to join in at Anyone for Anya? challenges. Hope to see you next week.
