i love my friends

Well,

Can someone please tell me how to come up with good blog post titles.. I suck at them and hate to be receptive...(work can be repetitive but not blog titles.. :P)

So I am impatient and have to share this card I made yesterday.. Just for fun and no order and it was so cool...(BTW this is my second post for the day, you can check the first one here.)

This card is made following a tute shared by Priya of the craft shop.. She now knows my recent obsession with stamping and was kind enough to share a few tutes with me.. Thanks Priya.. I found this idea so cool.. Might not be new, might not be extraordinary but I totally loved it.. Why.. First time and took me a lot of time to give it the look I wanted.. So after wasting several sheets of paper with my various color experiments, I finally managed it with brown.. I popped up the sentiment up on dimensional to give it a raised look and to highlight the tiles in the background

This tutorial I followed can be found here. So without further ado, Here is my card.

Isn't this cool.. Love the tile effect and I tried different combinations too.. i tired with purple using my fav leafy vine set.. I tried with the flower BG stamp but it wasn't stamping properly for some reason.. So finally I took up this combination..

All about love

Happy Sunny Monday everyone,

it is so hot ( I have developed this habit of cribbing about the heat)... I have a couple of cards to share which I made to gift for a wedding.. The one am sharing today is completely using non-traditional wedding colors..

It is a flip pocket card like the one I had made earlier as my dedication to three very special ladies in my life... You can check the earlier card here.

This card is super fun to make and super fast to assemble.. Once I had the general idea in my head as to what I had wanted to make, the execution went pretty fast...

So here goes.. ( WARNING: Picture heavy post)

Princess

Hello,

How is everyone beating the heat. The Indian Summer is killer this time and the humidity levels in Kolkata is making life hell... The only thing I want to do is remain under the shower all day long ( that of course would make me wrinkly and not a favorable outcome at all)

I made a Princess MDF wall hanging on order... This was my first attempt at mdf and modge podge and well as they say until and unelss you try you never know whether you can do it or not.

While everyone is doing it with such ease, I of course had to face a lot of problems, the first being.. If you are an impatient soul like me then modge podge is not for you... :P.. You have to give it enough time to dry in between coats to get a good finish...

I will not talk much.. Just go on and show you the pictures...

You're the best

Good Morning Y'all,

It's the weekend and I have tons of work to get through... I made huge numbers of mother's day cards this time which were shipped without em clicking any pictures... yes yes you read it correctly.. I did not click pictures because they were personalized with the mother's pictures...They were good fun to make..The card I am showing today is also for mother's day from my cousin to my aunt.

A quick card made using the reverse masking technique... Mind you I am still new to this whole stamping technique thing and would love a feedback.. I want to improve my stamping..
I had recently purchased a peacock feather stamp from the color conceptions store (now the craft shop) and had been itching to use it... It is so gorgeous and the detailing after stamping is superb...

Another thing which I love is my new bahama blue ink.. I have been wanting to buy this ink ever since I had seen one of tejal's ATC on her blog where she has used it and there after on quite a few cards...So I combined the two to make my card...

Love me do

Hiya folks,

How is everyone enjoying the heat.. I am getting baked here what with such high levels of humidity and unbearable heat.. Staying awake is a pain.. All day long I feel like staying inside my air conditioned room. Ala, that would have been perfect but not possible

I made a double twisted easel card last week using my brand new whimsy stamps... Whimsy stamps are just too cute and have some adorable images which you color..I even noticed a few things regarding inks this time... I recently purchased the rangers archival ink pad and trust me... it is a must buy for people who like coloring... The image is crisp and gives such an even tone color finish it is unbelievable.. Try another with a memento ink and see the difference and you would understand what I mean...

I think I have talked enough for today... Now I shall go on and share the pics...

the card lying flat

There is a tag behind the image panel. I have stuck the PP only on 3 sides keeping one side open to slide the tag in.

I am finally back... My computer is finally working and you have no idea how happy and overjoyed I am.. I sound silly? Try staying without your pc for a while.. A smart phone is great but your pc is your pc... sentimental attachment to it...

I am right now flooded with baby orders... pink and blue everywhere... :D...

Quad easels are great fun to make and very very versatile.. I keep emphasizing on this point every time I pose a quad easel here.. For those who have never given it a shot.. give it a try... they are marvelous..
