True Friend

Hello,

I finally am having a little breathing space after back-to-back orders... Phew... Made a couple of double z-fold cards during the day yest using one piece of 12x12 card stock.. I am stocking up on cards because I can see an immediate need for them in the not-so-distant future.. :D

The double z-fold card looks really cute in real life... You could even call it a gate-fold card with a twist because the basic design structure and mechanism is that of a gate-fold card... I have a lot of love for special folds for simply I feel.. When you have the tools.. try something totally over the top rather than just folding a card into half... Mind you, even that simple folded card might give you nightmares at times but to cut a long story short, I have an attachment to special folds and hope to try as many as possible...

So here are the pics of my card.. the colors are inspired by the current Itsy Bitsy Logo color challenge.

8x8 anniversary Album

Hey folks,

Am back today sharing an 8x8 10th Anniversary album made on order.. My first attempt and let me tell you.. I am just so glad that it is over.. Phew...It was no doubt a lot of fun to make but it really really drained me.. Considering the fact that I have so many things happening at the same time including handling and minding my niece while her parents are away.. it was quite a handful.

I'll just go on and share the pics with you guys... It is quite self-explanatory....

Warning : PICTURE HEAVY POST

Today's card is a based on a whimsical idea which popped onto my mind and then I just kept on adding and subtracting elements before I was satisfies with my card... :D

So here it is.. (please beware for it is a very bright card.. :P)

Friends till the end

Hey guys,

It's getting unbearably hot here in Kolkata and the there seems to be no respite from the heat. Plus the work load is getting annoying...I have been working round the clock...

Today I made a triple layer stamping card again using my brand new stamp and ink... Stamping is a new territory for me and while I am getting comfortable using the technique, I still have a long way to go before I master it...

I had made a similar card earlier as a dedication to my friend Tejal, today my card is dedicated to all my friends I have made over the years.. In school, college, through work and of course blogger.. This is to thank each and every one of you who have touched my life in one way or the other...

So here is my card...

I kept changing the position of the card to click under various brightness of the sunlight..
