Dhin Chak #2

OMG.. Had to go through it again.. forgot the max 5 challenge rule for ICR so now made another one to participate...

I ventured into something new now.. Made my first joy fold card.. This is by far my favorite so far.. I think there are a lot of possibilities with this card and can be manipulated to suit our purposes..

Well I can ramble unendlessly so without further ado.. here is the card..

I tried to make it as Dhin Chak as I could.. The bold card stock.. The colours.. The butterflies...

This card is actually cased on the one made at Daydreams by Suganthi.. She is one awesome quiller.. I could just pull off the colours and a part of the style.. I need to drop in a mail to ask her how she shaped her flowers.. You can check the cased card here...

The colours also take inspiration from the following image...

The supplies used in the card
Card stock => fabriano Elle erre
DP => Echo Park spring time
Butterflies => Pie Lane
Glitter balls => Pie Lane
Sentiment=>Tracey Brossart

A close up of the flowers

Don't the glitter balls look awesome...

The Inside

and the very famous Pie Lane butterflies

I am entering this card for the following challenges

ICR3- Dhin CHak photo inspiration +Hand Made embellishment
Kavi's blog anniversary challenge- Inspiration Challenge
For your Inspiration-Photo Inspiration

Hugs,
Khush

Thanks a lot Khush for your compliments:). I am so happy you have cased my card. The trick is to stick the petals and let it dry at an angle .Easiest way is to let the flower dry by supporting each petal with a quilled element underneath holding them at an angle.
