Hello Everyone,
No No, Holi is long gone and neither am I suffering from the after effects of it... I have been living in a zombie land for the past several months thanks to a lot of issues going on at home and my heart just wasn't in crafting.. But thanks to T here.. Mt mind kind of started working again... ran ideas by her.. taking her opinion and basically trying to get my mojo up and running again.. Thanks T...
This card is inspired by Gayatri's card ( which again was shown to me by T) and I absolutely fell in love with the simplicity of the card and the bold use of colors and I decided to make one of my own and my own interpretation of course...
Color blocking is something which I had seen a lot of bloggers do but I was for some reason scared of trying it although my love for bold and bright colors is quite well-known...Anyways no more rambling.. Let me just show you the card...
This really is my kind of a card.. LOUD colors... :D....
And here is the close up of the color block...
A quick and easy card to make...
Supplies used:-
White CS and Black layering Cardstock=> locally purchased...
Blue embossed CS=> RAK from P
Rest of the CS are scraps left behind from various projects
Sentiment=> Penny Black paint the town
Faux stitching using my uniball white signo gel pen.
