Hey peeps,
Back again... This card has been in my box for d last 1 week since I saw the sketch wanted to have a go at it...This card is based on the sunday sketch and stamp # 72 ... It's an awesome sketch... Take a look at the sketch...!!
and here is my card...
Yes, yes I know I have used this image in a card before but hell, it is such a cutie that I can use it over and over again.... and this card is extremely special for it's for a very special friend... Not from blogger.. but someone who I admire greatly.. Her birthday is just coming up so thought of making something for her... The colour combination is very unusual for me.. Like I mentioned in my last post, there is something wrong with me for am getting fascinated by oranges and greens... God knows what would come next.. Maybe purple as Tejal suggested.. *wink*
Take a look at the close up of an image
As you all can see.. I forgot to color the stem of the flower.... and *embarrassed* I have posted i that way... Damn!!.. had thought of coloring the stem once the glue and gloss dried but ti slipped my mind completely.. She'll probably think am berserk.. Oh hell she thinks so anyways...
Supplies for this card:-
Beige card stock locally bought... The green card stock for the layering again is locally bought.. The Scallop border is an ek success punch which I punched on some pearl finished paper I had picked up from a local store in Gurgaon... The yellow flower center has been done up with glitter balls from Pie Lane (of course)... the small flower centers have been done with a pink gem and a flat pearl respectively from my stash.. The black gems are also from my stash....The digi image was a freebie from Di's digital downloads.. the sentiment is a stamp borrowed from a friend... Ohhh and the PP is from Studio Calico which I had bought from Ujjwal..

He is a cutie, you should use him more than once. Isn't that what makes stamps and digis so wonderful you can use them over and over. And as far as your colors go, they're perfect for fall and it's good to try new things. That's how you grow. So good for you.
