Note cards + Some more RAKs

Hello,

Before you begin reading this post.. Let me just WARN you that is is going to be a very long post full of pictures... So carry on at your own risk.. LOL...

It's been hectic the last few days.. I did some quilling.. Was missing it.. So made some random flowers... And then sat down to make notecards.. Since the last ICR swap.. Note cards have caught my fancy and I wanted to do some more... So I took out all the scraps I had left over ( There was a lot of scrap.. I still have a lot more to use) and began working on them.... Made 12 note cards.. PHEW!!!

I'll explain each as we go... Not that it requires explaining.. Will just mention the supplies and all...!!

Note Card 1:

This is made with the Woodeware USA Stamp set Indian Dreams which I had won for the last ICR challenge sponsored by Piali's Scraps n More.. This is my first attempt at full on stamping using an image and coloring it.. I was not too sure how it would come out.. I think the impression didn't come out too well... I used scraps of old Fabriano sheets and I traced the spell binders label and hand cut it.. Thanks Kavi for the die cuts.. Am having fun using them... And did some faux stitching around it and blinged it up using some red rhinestones from my stash.. I colored the image using my Staedler water color pencils.

Note Card 2:

The second scrappy card has an Hobby Ideas scrap as card stock.. layered with some Fabriano scraps.. the stamp is from the same set of the above note card.. I coloured it using some of my sketch pens and Staedler water colour pencils.. I did the centre using Pie Lane glitter balls.. the bird is stamped from the woodeware stamp and the sentiment is from Unity's just wanted to say which I bought from Ujjwal and the Ink is Unity Noir again bought from Ujjwal... Did some faux stitching once more...

Note Card 3:

This scrappy card has a die -cut and traced from a RAK Pardha sent me.. ( more about the RAK later in the post).. I event cut the circle out..As you can see it isn't very neat.. :-/.. I gave the petals some storkes with my sketch pens and the Hi is handwirtten.... The pearls are from my stash....

Note Card 4:

This card as a Hobby Ideas PP and a spell binders label traced and cut.. Blinged it up with some rhine stones from my stash.. The sentiment is from Fiskars For the birds stamp which I bought from Karuna's Store and inked it with Unity French Lilac bought from Ujjwal.

Note Card 5:

This card idea was actually adopted from a card Ujjwal had sent me along with the giveaway I had won on her blog.. The butterfly is a die cut from Itsy bitsy on which I had rubbed some 3D glitter glue and glue glossed it... Have put Pie Lane glitter balls on the scallops...

Note Card 6:

This is a simple card.. I have corrugated the layering cardstock using my paper crimper.. Layered two labels and stamped on it from a MICIA stamp again bought from Karuna's store inked with Unity Noir.. The pearls are from my stash.

Note Card 7:

This mush is totally based on the ones Spardha made for the swap ( I am not being able to find a link to it so Spardha help me find one)... The mush is a die cut from her.. I punched the circles to make eyes and the sentiment is a mini stamp I won at a giveaway from Holley.. Blinged it up using rhine stones from my stash...

Note Card 8:

This swirl was again a RAK from Spardha.. Itraced and cut it out in black and i stuck crochet thread all around it since I have no twine.. The sentiment is handwritten...

Note Card 9:

This was the last border I cut from my Fiskars sunburst punch ( sob sob).. I cut out two hearts and wrote us using Pie Lane glitter balls, And stuck Pie lane heart stickers.. One in blue and one in pink.. :D.. Did some distressing on the border...

Note Card 10:

Hobby Ideas PP and a sentiment from Fiskars bought from Karuna and some faux stitching...

Note card 11:

My quilling experiment over the weekend... Trying to get my quilling mojo back...

Note card 12:

This is my favourite... A martini glass from the Pie Lane Champagne collection ( I really dono the name.. I call it the champagne collection.. :D) and the sentiment is handwritten...

Phew these were my notecards....Now some RAKs which I received.. I am having an extended birthday party...

The first one is from Shalini.. She sent me the Hero Arts flourishes background stamp.. it is wow...

The next was from Spardha.. She sent me a really pretty card which you can see here. Some die cuts, the very popular black pearls which she uses and the cutest doggie papers ever.. She knows I love dogs...

And finally a really pretty card from Snehal.. She sent me a stamping block too but the Indian Postal services people stole it.. Buggers.. They'll probably use it to hit one another.. * wink *

That's all for now folks.. I am now tired after this very long post.. PHEW...!!1 Your comments are highly valuable... Thank you so much for every time you drop by.. Your words encourage me to work harder to improve myself...

Hugs,
Khush
