Post-it holders

Hello,

I am back.. I know I promised to make it more often to my blog but it just isn't happening.. Trying my best to be as regular as possible. Recently I had been itching to try new things ( Read: Something which most people have done except me). While looking into my stash, found some post-its lying around so thought of trying to make something out of it and voila, here I am with my post-it holders.

They really are the cutest thing ever and so much fun to make. I had a blast making these two. Kept the color same while I played along with embellishing it. fun and quirky are the words I would use for it. While there is a space constraint when working with it, they really make you think hard as to how to go about embellishing it to the maximum with the minimum possible space available. in short, a brain teaser.

So with all the rambling on about it, here goes

Here are the two I made. The base and the layering is the same while I embellished it in different ways. Used distress inks, stamp and mulberry flowers on one and die-cuts on the other. The idea for the embellishment did come when I was one the verge of sleeping.and this idea comes. I got up and execute the same. I am quite happy with the way these two have turned out.
