You're Awesome...!!

This is my third post for the day.. * Phew *... I tired myself out.. :D

I made a quickie criss-cross card.. I just love that card.. easy to make and looks so cool... One of my favourite fold cards ever...

Take a look.. The pictures are a bit bad... my back now hurts with all the crafting I did.. I am now going to chill and listen to Delhi Belly songs.. :D

The ribbon is from my stash
The digi image is a Precious Moments coloring page which I found from the internet
The Sentiment is from Erum's blog. This is one of my fav sentiments.. Have used it a lot..
Have done some faux stitching around the image..
The buttons are from Pie Lane.

Funky Babes

This is my second post for the day.. you can check my first card here.

Like I mentioned in my earlier port.. I am on a roll when it comes to coloring. Made these 2 super cute cards super quick.. Have a look.. The image is the same.. Just changed the layout a bit...!!

Supplies for this card:-
Cardstock is purple which is purchased locally
The CB embossed papers were brought from Anita.
The image is a freebie from DigiDarla
The butterflies are from Pie Lane. Look closely at the image.. there is some bling on her too.. All from Pie Lane.!
I had tried distressing and it was looking weird so I used the backside of the embossed sheet.. :D
The ribbon is from my stash.. The sentiment inside says hugs and kisses for you..
I jazzed up the boots with glue and gloss.. look closely.. They look so much like the pair I own.. :D

 For this.. the cardstock is the same purple one...
I used embossed sheets for panelling which I brought from Anita.
In the centre I have made louvre like panels with Pie Lane glitter border stickers.. They are absolutely Yummy...And the girl is all blinged up with the Pie Lane glitter balls.. Look closely...!!
The butterfly is a RAK from Ash and I have used rhinestones from my stash to bling it up.
The sentiment was emailed to me by Jovi.

I love you dear friend...!!

Hey guys am back.. yes.. I say that after every couple of hours when I am back with a new post.. Being bed ridden is a nuisance so since I have nothing better to do I sit and make cards and color a lot of digi images.. My Staeadler color pencils are now groaning from over use.. * wink *

This is a card I made for all my blogger friends who've really helped me grow immensely.. Everyone is special and unique in their own way...But I'll make special of two who've made a real impact on me.. Manuela and Monica.. This is especially for the two of you.. While the former is an exquisite quiller.. The latter has been a great friend and very encouraging.. So this is dedicated to the two of you..While you're at it do visit these two awesome bloggers and show them some love...

This card will also be my third entry to the current ICR challenge.. * woo hoo*...

 I glossed up the teddys's shirt , the ladybug's body and the leaves using glue and gloss.. gives it such an awesome sheen... :-)

The plaster is annoying and itchy and to forget all that I am making cards and am on a roll * woo hoo*...
I made a set of gatefold cards today.. same image.. same colour combo and everything.. just changed the positions of the buttons to give it a different looks...

Sneak peek of my plaster.. LOL

Well.. being the artistic type.. I did not want a black plaster.. Wanted a nice pale yellow but it was not available so have to make do with a blue one.. Here it is.. am out for a month with this.. Damn...!!

 Guys leave me nice comments as to what you would have written on my plaster had you been here.. Might as well make use of the damn thing and have fun with you guys...!!

Girls Just Wanna Have fun..!!

I am back with another card... This card has been on my mind for ages.. Been itching to try it out and when I did.. It's come out awesome.. Love the whole layering of it...!! It's a gatefold+joyfold card...

First take a look at it...!!

 Isn't she gorgeous... I think I am smitten by her and pink.. I seem to be making a lot of pink cards lately.. :D

I'll show you all the panels and get done with it.. Nothing much to say about it..

For those who want to know how I made this.. I took a 6*12 cardstock and scored it at 3 and 9 to get a gatefold card... for the joy fold u need a piece slightly smaller than this one so i took a 5*10 folded in half.. stick the smaller piece into the right panel and voila your done...!!

Secret Buddy Swap...!!

Yee Hawww.. Don't mind me.. Was just watching the cowboys Vs Aliens Trailer.. Doesn't Daniel Craig look HOT.. * Drooling *...

Anyways.. Today I made a foray back into crafting and it took me the entire day to complete the card.. surprises surprises.. The reason being.. I made the same thrice... The first time I missed a step and the paper went waste * 'dang it*.. The second time I did everything correct and was jumping with joy BUT it wasn't to be so.. I managed to stick it wrong.. * double dang it*.. Finally I made it correctly at the third attempt and am rather proud of myself.. * pat pat*..

I made a circle flip up book for the very first time.. There are lot of tutorials on the web.. Just google it.. It looks complicated but is rather easy to make.. I had a ball making it...

  This is how the flip books looks when it is tied... I cut the circle using the side plates of my dinner set :D.. Since I don;t have a circle cutter.. I make do with what I have.. Psstt Karuna you listening right... :D

 Now let me show you the close up of each panel.. I'll speak of the supplies as we go because it used a lot of my supplies... PHEW..

Humpty Dumpty Had a great fall..!!

Wasn't this a great nursery rhyme and applies to me perfectly... I am Humpty Dumpty and I took a great fall...!! Fell down 6 stairs last night while on my way up to my floor.. and twisted my right ankle really bad.. my whole right foot is swollen.... Going to the doc now.. Please pray it isn't broken.. I'll die if I have to sit in one place...

How is everyone doing? I am back after a month long holiday and I missed you guys and missed my crafting... But had a fabulous time in Delhi & Gurgaon especially catching up with fellow bloggers in the NCR region...

Gurgaon Bloggers Meet..!!

OMG OMG OMG... This was like the bestest afternoon ever... Not in my imagination did I think it would be so awesome to meet complete strangers.. Well not really strangers since we keep following one another *wink* but still.. I guess most of the people got the drift... To think it was a success is an understatement... It was a huge success and we should plan one again.. I will once again be back in Delhi in September.. I think I should move to Delhi permanently only... * wink*...

Well... There was Dolly, Spardha (the baccha of the blogger samaaj literally), Neha Jain, Shalini,Karuna(Thanks to her for giving us the permission to have a blast at her place), Me of course, Romina and Shubhra.. Unfortunately Chhavi is missing from the pic as she had to leave a tad bit early... but it was super awesome...

Chhavi, Shalini, Romina and DOlly brought along with them some delicious food... YUM YUM... and then we gossipped.. not about craft but everything else in general.. Hell it was like a proper girl friends day out which I have rarely had...All in all one heck of an afternoon.. I wish I could write more but unfortunately I don't have words to put in for them... I'd fail miserably if I tried..

I'd just like to thank all who made it.. It was indeed a pleasure to meet you all.. See you guys in September...

Top 3 at ICRC5

Just a quick post to inform my dear friends that I made it to the top 3 at the Indian Craft Room Challenges... that makes it two in a room and it is really satisfying after the hard work put into it... Truly appreciate the effort put in by Ash and Tejal.. Thanks so much.. I feel sad I will have to miss the current challenge but will definitely make up for it in the next challenge..
