My first fall card

Hey,
Am back... Am back on a roll of making cards.. It's therapeutic for me.. I have been having some awful days... Plus an impending trip to Delhi.. Am soo excited....

Today I made a fall card using the current designed2delight image freebie.. The fall colours look pretty awesome.. I wonder I never tried such colours before... Anyways I ramble way too much so just take a look at the card.. It's a criss cross card.. For those of you who follow my blog know that I love special folds and criss cross is one of my favorites as you can make them quickly with very less wastage....

That's it.. Simple and easy.. I love all the orange.. I am having unusual taste for cardstock colours.. oranges, green.. I think I am coming down with something...

I used a beige base cardstock which was bought locally, the orange cardstock is also bought locally. The PP was a birthday RAK from Ash.. The digi is a freebie from designed2delight progressive challenge. The insides have some petaloo flowers stuck together using brads bought from Karuna's store and some Pie Lane Swirls. The border punch is Ek success and have used some bling from my stash.. If you look closely at the image, the centers of the sunflowers have been done using Pie Lane glitter balls. Teh image is colored using ym Staedler water color pencils and the die cuts have been traced and hand cut...

Butterfly... Fly away..!!

Well I am back rather quickly... Well this butterfly song is by Hannah Montana.. In case you didn't realize.. Not a big fan or anything but I just happened to be watching the movie while making the card and it kinda got stuck in my mind...

Last night I made a criss cross card.. You can check it here. I had the DP scraps left so I made another criss cross card..  Rather lame but hey I ain't wasting my Echo park...!!

Hugs and Kisses

OMG.. It seems like ages since I last made a card.. It's been a hectic last few weeks and then the pain in my arm suddenly shot up once more and made me sit quietly... Today I made a card for a blogger whose work I immensely admire.. I think she immensely creative and comes up with something new with almost all her projects.. No names now.. You'll get to know it when she receives it..

I made another attempt at the criss-cross card.. Frankly... This is one of the easiest folds to make.. LOL...

Anyways have a look at the card and then I'll prattle some more...!!

Fairly simple card.... Not much to say about it except that I love the colour combo.. My love for bright colours makes me use such bold colours...!! A few more close ups.

Embellishment rampage.. :-)

The title scared you Huh.. Well I seriously think I went overboard in this one.. I could have kept it simple but didn't feel like applying the KISSing method today.. LOL

I made a criss-cross card today... been itching to try it out for ages but something or the other always cropped up and I could not do it..

Well have a look first and then I'll prattle some more..

I painfully sat down and stuck the rhinestones and the pearls and then with great trepidation tied the ribbon.. The bow looks OK I think.. what say guys??
