multi-fold note cards day #1=> Easel cards

Hello everyone,

The last swap at swap central India saw up swapping multi-fold notecards, 4 cards of each of 5 different folds and each card had to be different.

To say it was a mammoth task would be an understatement. I wasted so many card stocks and finally one fine day, the brain started working and then there was no stopping it.

I will be posting each fold as a separate post instead of making one big post. This way I will also have things regularly being updated on my blog.. LOL

Today I will be sharing my easel cards with you.. I absolutely love making easel cards. They are just so versatile and there are endless possibilities as to how you can incorporate different elements to do up your easel cards.

I tried all the various types and wasting enough paper to realize that it is best to keep it simple...

So without further rambling, here goes...

I love the ric-rac in rainbow colors... I did add pearls to the punched card stock on the base later on so they are not here. Added them as an after thought.
Supplies used:-
Card stock=> white 300 gsm paper locally purchased and fabriano scraps for die-cutting
Polka dotted Washi tape on the border
PTI ric-rac die. Spell binders floral ovals for the oval cut
MS 3-1 butterfly punch and Deco shells
Bling from stash.

Finally understanding the concept of the use of negative space, love the outcome of this card. Looks like the giraffe is peeking inside a window.. :D

Suppleis Used:-
card stock=> Locally purchased
Digi was found on Pinterest
negative space of floral ovals die
Black pearls RAK from Spardha (Thanks girlie)
MS doily lace punch
Staedler water color pencils for coloring.

Lots of stamping and some fussy cutting on this easel card.

Supplies used:-
Card stpck=> Locally purchased and fabriano elle erre
stamps=> recollections love bird and HA Playful Animals
Inks=> Unity Noir and Memento
Itsy Bitsy boutique flower inked using tea dye distress Ink

This one if my favorite of the lot. Love the heat embossed vellum butterfly against all that black and pink.

Supplies:-
Card stock=> Locally purchased
Darice interlocking circles embossing folder from Priya's store
Spell binders heart circle die
HA antique engravings stamp set
Versamark embossing ink
zing white embossing power from crafters corner
MS doily lace from crafters corner

A consolidated pic of my four easel cards.

Hugs,
Khush
