Fly Away!!

Hello,

I am back with another notecard... Have made a lot but will put them up later.. Just do not have the time to sit and re-size them at the moment...

I have made a quilled notecard with a rocket especially for Piyu's challenge at the take a quill pill blog where this month's challenge is something for the kids...

Take a look...!!

The rocket idea took form in my brain while working on my nephew's project and we sat pouring over encyclopedias searching for information over the solar system... Yes Yes I know in this age pouring over books while Google is there... Nothing beats an encyclopedia.. trust me...And mine are now pretty ancient... I placed the rocket on a die cut which I hand traced and cut.. the star's idea made of Pie Lane glitter balls is inspired from Erum's card which you can check here. Thanks Erum....

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Take a quill pill=> august challenge something for the kids
Send a smile for kids=> use die cuts or punches or both
For your inspiration=> photo inspiration ( i have chosen the colours as my inspiration)

Thanks for dropping by... Your comments are highly valuable and appreciated...

Hugs,
Khush

Khush lovely rocket and yes as far as kids projects go on some topics the net doesn't yield good results! There is a wonderful Solar system diorama from Navneet publishers if you check out the shops and the canon site has some awesome solar system projects you can make.

This is adorable! Love the quilling! :) What a fabulous aunt you are!

P/s: I prefer books when it comes to research. Not everything you find on google is 100% accurate! I love my local library! :)
