Yes yes.. I know.. Weird title.. But it's one of my closest buddy's name who I love to bits.. We are as different as chalk and cheese.. Cannot stay together and cannot stay without each other.. Want to gift her something for her return back to Kolkata(hopefully).. If not then for friendship day.. A Layout.. which I am horrible at...But I have kept it totally simple.. Like we used to do it in school.. pictures.. a few stickers here and there... loads of writing.. Hand written.. None of that stamped stuff..

All the embellishments used are from Pie Lane.. Am in love with the stuff...Hope you guys like it.. And please make suggestions on how to do layout and how to improve.. I am sorely lacking in that field...

I love you too much Sharoni.. Muuah.. I know she isn't reading this or she would have killed me for the PDA.. LOL..

They are my Mum, My Taiji and my Chachi...The three most amazing women in my life..

ICR Swap-May 6*6 DP

Hey friends,

I am part of the Indian Craft Room.. An amazing forum where all the crafters from India come together...This month's ICR swap was for 6*6 DP.. My swap Partner was Ash.. She has sent me some amazing DP with a very cute card and it has been dabbed in cologne I think for it smells heavenly.. Thanks Ash.. I am relatively new to this whole crafting thing so my stash of DP is rather low and this seemed like a good way to exchange and get something new...

Pie Lane

Hey friends,
Let me introduce to you Pie Lane..They are based in Pune. A  craft company which specializes in embellishments like adhesive colored stones, stickers, swirly stickers, silhouettes, etc. A few days ago she contacted me and asked me if I was interested in using some of her products.. So I thought, why not.. What's the harm in trying.. I received the parcel today and am more than happy to share them with you.. I liked the stuff I received today and they are pretty economical.. Mother's Day Saison Une

Hey friends,
Am back.. This time with a mother's day card and my very first attempt at using a digi image on a card and colouring it on my own *drumroll*.. It's quite an achievement for me I swear it...

Well, here is the picture of my project

I have followed the sketch from the Sweetest Thing Blog sketch #115.. Well this again was a first for me, i.e. following a sketch pattern.. So another *drum roll* for me.. LOL. And the sketch looks like this

Here is a close up of the digi I painted... It was such a hardship oh my god.. I swear it...

Eeewww.. I know the picture's a bit shoddy but I never did boast about my photography skills as I have none...

And here is the inside of the card...

Now, there is a story behind this card.. This card I have made for one of my cousin's friend who wants to give it to his adoptive parents.. If you notice closely in the picture, the Mother Kitty and two of her kittens look similar but one of the kittens' looks different but he is one hiding behind his mum.. He wants to let his mum know that she has loved him beyond reason.. protecting him more than her own kids...:-)..
