Inked Background

Hello there,

I am back with yet another card which is inspired by Jennifer Mcguire's tutorial on her youtube channel. the technique was so cool and quite simple which made me wonder why had I not thought of it before. I am a huge fan of Jennifer's work and when it comes to inks I think she is like the ultimate guru. There is so much to pick up after seeing her work. The way she mixes inks with different elements to come up with the most awesome cards ever..

I will just go on and show the card to you guys..

This is a 5'x6.5' card made completely with inks and dies. I just loved the background and it was so easy. Totally funky if I may say so myself. have given a grosgrain look to the paper strips just to add some depth to it

Supplies Used:-
Cardstock=> locally purchased and brustro plus some paper scraps for the strips
Distress Stains=> picked raspberry, peacock feathers, spiced marmalade and peeled paint
Distress Inks=> Spun Sugar and Salty ocean
Impression Obsession cloud die and Memory Box hot air balloon die
Black and white gel pen
White pearls from stash
BIC markers for colouring the hot air balloon.
Penny black stamp for sentiment
Versamark Ink and Zing  white embossing powder.

Entering this for the following challenges:-
ABNH=>Inspired by hero artist
Deep Ocean Challenge=> Distressing
Artistic Impression=> No designer paper
