Rain Rain Go away...!!

This is literally my situation.. It's been raining non-stop for like 4 days now.. Thank God it's stopped now.. It was making me lazy and crabby... Had unfinished cards but my mojo suddenly decided to give me a break and I was at a loss as I didn't know what to do..!!

This is the card I created for the ICR Challenge set by Snehal.. We had to interpret the word rain and decorate the inside of the card or the envelope..

Well Snehal and the ICR team.. When I think of rain.. IT makes me think of rainbows( I have seen them very rarely, can you believe that) of flowers and butterflies and how everything looks bright and fresh once it's rained.. Taking inspiration from the scene.. I have made a card which denotes the colours of the rainbow....

Here, take a look...!!

Here is the inside of the card..

Fairly simple Huh..!!

The outside of the card is done with the starburst technique, the tutorial of which you can find here.

Supplies used:-
Card Stock=> For the base Fabriano Elle Erre and the yellow matted layer is brought locally
DP=> Echo Park Summer Days( I love them.. Thank you Ujjwal)
The flower=> ICR swap from Karuna
Swirls and butterflies=> Pie Lane
Used soem distressing too..

Inside=> Yellow card stock for journaling which is distressed.. I created a wave effect using my fiskars sunburst punch and the scraps left from the Echo Park Summer days paper.

I am entering the card for the following challenges:-
HLSC=> Bright colours
CIP=> Bright colours
ICR=> Interpretation of rain+ Inside of the card or envelope
Stamp Something=> Pretty Papers
OWH stars and stamps=> Starburst tutorial

Comments awaited.. This probably would be my last card before I leave for my vacation.. I might not craft but will drop by everyone's blog..

Happy Crafting ALL..

Hugs,
Khush

Hi, dear Khush, this card is awesome - the colours are perfect for a rainbow and look at that hard work gone into folding those lovely designer papers!!! You are growing in your skills every day. Love the embeliies as well. The central flower is lovely.

Have a great vacation... will miss your posts, though.
