Hi guys,

I am just so overly excited about this post.. There is a craze going on about Washi in crafting and it is rightly so.. It is just so awesome and super cool.. Takes seconds to take a project from ordinary to extraordinary...Am on a roll and i can make quick cards.. Some right under 3 minutes once the idea is clearly formed in my mind.. Such endless possibilities.. Definitely a must-buy for all people who want to give their projects that little bit extra...

I got my pack of washi tapes which I purchased from rachana and was just fiddling around wanting to use them when I got my eureka moment.. the card an about to show you guys I made in 3 mins flat.. How cool is that, eh?? Enough of rambling...Just go and check out the card

circle flip book-take 2

yes I know.. it's become mundane seeing the same circle flip book but I just cannot help myself.. I am totally addicted to making them.. They are just so so so so much fun...

This one's again a custom order... The recipient loved it.. So am happy.. :-).. I shall not ramble much as there really isn't much to say except that weather in Kolkata rocks.. It's rainy and thundering and cool which is making me extremely lazy while I am busy working on friendship day and rakhi orders... :-)

CD mini for Swap Central India

Hi guys,

Am back with yet another post and his time it's a CD mini.. Yayy...!! Made this mini as part of the first swap for swap central and I had a ball making it.. It was challenging for me for quite a few reasons.. One I suck at minis.. I always get lost as to how to embellish it.. Two, the space constraint.. You realize how small CD really when you try to work on it... Three.. Well it was fir the first time I was making it so I was bound to be a bit apprehensive about trying it...!!

Anyways,

I won't talk much and just show you the pics... the pics have been taken from the swap central blog!

There really is not much need to speak... I guess the pictures say it all...

Entering it for the PPS challenge which is recycling...

please do leave your comments as it helps me improve myself...Have a great weekend..

Birthday box card

Hi guys,

How is everyone doing.. Can you believe it that half the year is already gone.. Time flies really... I have been busy with work lately so my blog is relatively quiet.. Doesn't mean I haven't been crafting for I have been crafting non-stop...It's amazing to just be able to channelize your energy into creative output...

This birthday card is for a VERY special friend.. The one person with whom I may not talk everyday or even every week.. But whenever we do speak it's like the gaps weren't there ever....

I won't ramble much.. Just showing you the pics at one go.. In essence it follows the same pattern as my last box card because I was short of time and I really did not have time to go over the top with it.. I made this card in 4 hours and it was a huge ask considering the heat has been absolutely killer and drains me even while am working in my room with the air conditioner on...Pheww...!!

tweety on the lid.. I LOVE tweety...

die cuts on all 4 sides for writing

open view... I still love the tweety....

tags on opposite pockets

die cuts on one wall...

It is a PINK card yet again I know.. But I just cannot help it.. I have caught an unusual fascination for shades of pink... :D

Simple and nothing fancy.. Lots of cutting and all though.. :D
